The decision of the Court in connection with the re-hearing of the en quiry into the wreck of the Devoi was delivered to-day, and exonerate Captain Caunce; The steamer wa-‘ j stranded on the rocks- at Pencarrov '■ Heiuj on the side of the en trappe to Wellington harbor ,at 7.4’ p.m.;on 2sth August, 1913, in squall,' weather. Justice Chapman, presiden I of the Court, intimated that he woulc I give instructions that Captar | Cauneo’s certificate he returned. Th ! assessors were Captains W. J. New ton and W. Waller.
