The Government Meteorologist (Mr Pemberton) telegraphed this afternoon
as follows: The indications are for northerly winds strong to gale prevailing, wit', westerly tendency soon. The wea ther will probably prove squally ami changeable. Barometer unsteady with a falling tendency. Rain probable.
