The Official 'Smallpox Bulletin this evening states that the District Health Officer at Auckland reports that no cases have been reported from Auckland city or suburbs, and only one case from Kaipara, in the Hokianga country. The number of cases at present in the hospital at Kaikohe is 28, at Oaikare 5, at Point Chevalier 20, at Hamilton 6, and at Tauranga 18.

The case of the swagger from Otahuhu admitted to the Waikato hospital two clays ago, is definitely diagnosed as smallpox. Now there are five cases under treatment. Seven have been discharged. The man’s companion is still' at large.
