ANGLO-SAXON BROTHERHOOD. [By Electric Telegraph--Copyright] [lmill Press Association.] Loudon, September 6. Sir G. Reid, in an interview, said he could not sufficiently express his admiration for Lord Haldane’s utterances regarding Anglo-Saxon brotherhood. He had only one complaint to make, and that was that he omitted Australia, which though very far away, must not be entirely forgotten. If Britain and the . United States announced that they regarded with the strongest disfavor any war, there would he an unprecedented attempt at peaceful settlement. He believed it would have an immense and immediate practical influence on the world’s politics.
