The Alexander worked through Monday night aaid sailed at 4.30 a.n« yesterday for Westport. The Corinna sailed for southern ports early yesterday morning, taking away about 100 tons of cargo. The Kaitangata has still a quantity of coal to discharge and it is doubtful if she will be able to complete in time to sail this evening for Picton, The Flora, with 237 tons of general cargo, arrived from southern ports yesterday. She got away for Westport and Greymouth in the afternoon. The Rarawa, looking clean and bright, after extensive overhaul and re-painting, arrived from Onohung.yesterday morning, hut did not reach port in time to connect with the express. Her cargo amounted to 260 tons, including 160 tons of cement 50 tons manure, 3 tons sugar and 2 tons flour, in addition to 1000 ft. o: timber.
