Dr. Findlay, late Minister )f Justice, who is an expert 'cellist, was so taken by the marvellous playing* )f George, that he allowed him to take lis own 'cello, valued at £2OO, to use hiring the tour.
BERNARD'S PICTURES. Last night a largo audience attended His Majesty's Theatre. The pictures submitted . were ■ of great variety, and included educational and I most sensational series. The amateur |trials of comic recitations were run through, the first prize of one guinea being awarded to Will Symes, and the second to Joe Crofts. Monday's change of programme introduces a very strong series of dramatic, scenu and comic pictures, both A.B. and Vitagraph dramas. 'The Little Tease," a great scenario by the'great American Biograph opens as fololws: —The truth was, she was born c cease, for from her first teeth to the time she was almost grown up, sh< >ractiscd her witcheries on her. unsuspecting parents, and the wild Jiings of her mountain home.
