[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright [Umteu L’brss Association. } Sydney, August 20. lii the Assembly Mr Wade moved his 'censure motion with reference to the Xorton-Grifliths agreement. He contended that it struck a vital blow at the declared financial policy* of the party in power, Mr Griffiths, in the absence of Mr Holman in Melbourne, replied in defence of the contract and the works policy. A protracted sitting is probable. (Received 9.50 a.m.) Sydney, August 27. The division resulted in favor of the Government by forty votes to thirtyfour.
