CANADA-GH3NA TREATY. TREMENDOUS POSSIBJLUTES. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [Umteh Press Association.] (Received 12.40 p.m.) Vancouver, August 21. Mr G. E. Foster (Canadian representative on the Empire Trade Commission) interviewed, said nothing more definite would bo done in the direction of a Canadiaii-Cbinese trade treaty until tho political conditions of China became more stable. There were tremendous commercial and trade possibilities between China, Japan and all the countries bordering on the Pacific. The question of a fast freight service between Canada and China and Japan had been mooted, and likely would be consummated.
