Mr Lloyd George lias telegraphed wishing Mr Kenyon luck in the figlri for tho Chesterfield seat. It is a policy, he says, to make Liberalism and Labor stand together. Divided they must both fall, united they will overthrow privilege and rnonopoh and a legion of social evils. Mr Hacock, a member of the House of Commons, has ignored Mr Ramsay McDonald’s mandate and is actively supporting Mr Kenyon. IMPROVING FARM STOCK. (Received 8.5 a.m.) London, August 18. The Government granted £37,000 this year to assist small holders to improve the quality of their farm stock.
