WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev I). C. Bates') telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, veering by west to south. Very stormy weather and heavy rain is to be expected, with rivers flooded. The weather will probably become colder. Barometer rising.
