A BREACH OF PROMISE.
RAHOTU MAN MULCTED IN £3OO [Per Press Association.] Auckland, August 11.
In the Supreme Court, Linda Daniel, of Auckland, claimed £5Ol damages for breach of promise of marriage from Richard Chambers Knowles, building contractor, of R-ahotu. The Judge said there was abundant proof of the engagement and the breach of promise. The jury assessed the damage at £3OO.
