INSULT TO GERMAN FLAG.
SEVERAL ARRESTS MADE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) [United Press Association.] (Received 9.15 a.m.) Paris, August 2. Dockers and bargees at Nancy were incensed at a German flag flown on a yacht, in the canal, and tore down the flag and carried it off. The German.'; appealed to the French authorities, and a strong force of police and gendarmes guarded the yacht and arrested several who confessed to burning the flag.
