Sir Henniker Heaton has received a cablegram from London stating that the wireless committee has proposed a penny a word for the zone system of wireless messages to India, Canada, Africa, and Australia. This, with the terminal charge, will mean four-pence a word to Australia for wireless, against Sir Henniker Heaton’s proposed twelve words for a shilling.
