The Daily Mail’s Washington correspondent reports that the British Go vernment has announced that it is not participating in tho Panama Exhibition of 1915. Some Continental Governments threaten to lie absent on the ground that America cannot guarantee tho protection of foreign patents exhibited.

Tho British Government’s abstention from the Panama Exhibition has been officially confirmed. Tho reasons are not given.
