THE CHRISTIAN CUSTOM

Sbiekh-ul-Islam, the head of the reproduction of the race, outside the that Islamism was more solicitous for the welfare of women than any other religion. He was anxious to shield them from depressing and degrading influences and struggles in the street; also from free association with men, and confining them to the prepincts of home as the Lord had ordained. They wore unable to discharge the most important function of life, the reproduction o ftheoraco, outside the home. The Moslem rule of polygamy had resulted in general monogamy, whereas the Christian custom resulted in polygamy, through immorality He believed that the world was floating in the direction of Islam.
