Mr Acland, in reply to a question, stated that the Powers were considering the matter of the Turkish reoccupation of Thrace. England did not propose to take separate action, but the Government had warned Turkey not to expect England to protect her from the result of her violent action. Bucharest, July 30. At an informal conference, a fiveday armistice was agreed on.

Lg . Ala tin publishes an interview with Enver Bey, in which he is credited with the assertion that Turkey will not evacuate Adrianople. He says : “Hero we ace, and here we will remain. Let Europe understand that once and for all.”
