It is< rumoured that, there Will be a- .mimber of Cabinet cahuges in the autumn. Sir Rufus Isaacs will be appointed Chief Justice; Sir Rufus Isaacs. will be appointed Chief Justice, Sir J. A. Simon, the present SolicitorGeneral, assuming the portfolio of Attorney-General. Mr S. O. Buckmaster will 1)0 appointed SolicitorGeneral.
The House of Lords, passed the Scottish Temperance Bill in Committee, includifig a compromise On the amendments whereby the Bill will become operative in 1920.
The House of Commons read the > Mental Deficiency Bill a third time.
