The Fountain Friendship Ledge oi Oddfellows resolved by Idol) to 302 votes to secede from the New Zealand Manchester Unity.

The point at issue is the proposal by the Manchester Unity that all New Zealand lodges should consolidate the sick and accident funds, and that these bo controlled from headquarters al Wellington. The Auckland Lodge is very wealthy, the assets being valued at £35,000 The proportion in favor of seceding exceeds that required by the rules.
