O'Reilly, president of St. Stanislaus' College, speaking at Bathurst, declared that the Roman Catholics were going to organise and deal-, with their, opponents in, a. most effective way, namely hy the ballot bojs. "The Catholic Federation in New South Wales is a political body," he •aid,, "and we are going to sell ourselves to the highest bidder. We shall be in the market by-and-by. For a great many years I have been voting Labour, but I will vote for another ticket to-morrow if it suits mo."
