NOTE.—Mr Hopkins lias been milking for 8 years, and the cows are recognised as being one of the best herds in the district. They are mostly young and well into the Jersey and Holstein. Mr Walsh has been dairying for 15 years and about half of bis herd aro 2nd calvers, having been specially selected from heifers, the breeding of which Mr Walsh knew,to he first-class, for dairying purposes. The Auctioneers very strongly recommend this herd to anyone'requiring good young cows. All the cattle have been on turnips and hay since 10th May last. Cows can remain on place till Ist August. Conveyances will leave the Loan and Mercantile office at 10 a.m., Thursday morning, and will also meet the 12.45 train on arrival from Hawera to convey intending purchasers to the sale.
