The July medal competition was won by Mr P. Wright. Twenty-five entries received for tins competition, and the following were the best six .irds returned:—
The ladies' competition was won by Miss Orbell. The cards returned .vere:—
In the second round of the men's championship G. R. Wright heat V. Orawshaw 1 up, J. P. Ritchie beat H. E. Abraham 2 up, W. J. Crawshaw l>eat J. H. Thompson 4 up and 3, and F. P. TJniacke beat E. A. Jackson 2 nj) and 1. In the semi final Ritchie plays G. R. Wright and W. J. Crawshaw plays Uniacke. The semi-finals of the ladies' championship resulted in Miss Orbell beating Miss P. Orbell 5 up and 3, and .Mrs Abraham beating Mm Robinson 5 up and 2.
