Mr T. McKeown, lately a resident c/thk town, is expected on a visit to Stratford to-morrow.

fir A. H. Herbert left for Auckland this morning's mail train. He is to act as Stratford delegate at the annual meeting of the North Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Society.

The golden wedding of .Mr and Mrs Jno. Cameron, of Waitara, was quietly celeb, ated on Monday evening, when the members of the family gathered and offered their congratulations. Itte local paper states that most ot Mr and Mrs Cameron's fifty years ot married life has been spent in Waitara.

A quiet wedding was celebrated at St Andrew's Church, New Plymouth, vesterday, when Mr J. E. Anderson, a well-known settler of Whangamomona, was married to Miss Ethel Maud Abbott, of this town. Mr C. Albertson was best man, and Miss Ritu Jones bridesmaid, the officiating minister being the Rev. W. Roseveare.
