ABOARD S.S. OTAKI

[Per Press Association.! Wellington, July 13.

While the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Otaki , e was bunkering in the stream yesterday afternoon, a fire was discovered in one of her bunkers. The coal was removed and the seat of the outbreak located after some hours' work, and the firo extinguished. The vessel suffered no structural injury and sailed for Tokomaru Bay this morning to continue loading operations. The fire was attributed to the fusing of an electrio wire.
