SUDDEN DEATH

Thomas .Dexter, a city corporation laborer, aged 42 years, and single, died suddenly in the City Dining Booms at about 6.30 yesterday morning. He was getting ready for work when ho fell down in the bedroom and expired. Ho is supposed to have taken a fit.
OVERDOSE OF WORM TABLETS

The inquest on Edith Miller, a child who died after eating a quantity of Keating's worm tablets, was resumed on Saturday before Mr Cruiekshank, S.M., coroner. Evidence was given by the child's mother to the effect that she had instructed the nurse who was attending her to purchase some worm tablets, and a box was procured. There were no directions on the box. When witness received it, _ahe gave the child a tablet at internals and left the box on the dresesr in her room. Later on the child, without her knowledge, obtained some of its contents. The child did not complain of any pain next day, but early next morning she became fearfully cold and was very ill, and Dr. Ewat was called in. He prescribed for the child, and a temporary recovery took place, but a relapse occurred. and the child died. The coroner found that the child died from inadvertently taking an overdose of Keating's worm tablets, and subsequent exposure.
