Sydney, July 8

A tragedy occurred at Drummoyiie. Thomas Streater, who was living apart

from his wife, visited the house where she was stopping, and alter a short conversation drew a revolver and shot her twice in the head and himself in the temple.

The woman, who was in a serious condition, was taken to tho hospital. Streater is dead.
