ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL [Per Press Association.] Wanganui, July 3. At the Magistrate’s Court at Raetihi to-day, before Mr Haselden, S.M., Peti Tetna was charged with the murder of Joseph Graham at Ore Ore on Saturday. Sub-Inspector Marsack, of Palmerston North, appeared for the prosecution, and Mr A. Harris, of Raetihi, for the defence. Accused reserved her defence and was committed for trial to the Supreme Court at Palmerston North on the 19th August. The Magistrate said that it was not customary to grant bail in the usual course in such cases, hut In the present instance he would grant bail to 1 accused in her own surety of £4OO and two other sureties of £2OO each.
