Tho first spell was fairly even, only three points separating the teams, hut in tho second half, lack of condition told its tale on the home team, and points were rapidly run up against them. For the winners, Bowler (2), Rogers (2), Jones (1), L. Tick bon (1) scored tries,, twq of which Collins converted. For Tukapa, MeKoy and Harding scored, and West kicked’‘a penalty goal. CLIFTON (12) v. STAR (0). On the Recreation Sports Ground, New Plymouth, Star v. Clifton, a good game resulted. Manner, Elliott, and Lash crossed the line for the visitors, and Fuller kicked a penalty goal.
