o, FIRE BRIGADESMEN'S UNION. Wellington, June 10. A union designated the. Wellington lire Brigade Employees' Union, was registered to-day. The men are seeking a rise in wages and generally improved working conditions. This union is the first of its kind in New Zealand. BOARD OF AGRICULTURE.
Speaking to a Post representative to-day, Mr Massey said ho would not tubmit bis proposals regarding the proposed board of agriculture until li'xc August, when a conference of Agricultural and Pastoral Societies' representatives would be held. He added that ho expected the Board would b:> inoddelled as nearly as possible on the lines of the Irish Board of Agriculture. L THE SMALLPOX SUSPECT.
