STRATFORD POULTRY SOCIETY.
The Stratford Poultry Society's schedule for the annual show to be held in the Town Hall on July 2nd and 3rd lias been issued from the jobbing department of the “Evening Post.’' The booklet, which comprises thirty octavo demy pages of all matters of interest concerning the Show, including several pages of advertisements, is an excellent production from the point of view of the priming trade, the general style in which the matter is displayed and the machining executed, being most creditable to those concerned. The rules and regulations of the Society, the prize list (embracing 231 classes in all sections of the show, six being in connection with a baby show, and a photographic competition for amateurs only, come under the principal headings. There is a heap of other useful information which fanciers and other intending exhibitor,*, will find very interesting. As mentioned in our columns previously, the Society has been allotted fifteen New Zealand championships, and this fact alone should ensure a successful exhibition of the fancy. An art, union is also to be held, it is understood, which will still further increase interest in the show. It will be seen that the Society has not been idle for some time past, and the members are to be congratulated on the excellent spirit of progress which has Iso far been shown. Entries close with the secretary, Mr T. J. Ladd, Stratford, on June 23rd.
