Neither sido approves of Spicer's draft report, some Liberal" taking exception to the paragraphs in which he refers to Ministers' errors of judgment. SIR RUFUS ISAACS' EVIDENCE. (Received 9.30 a.m.) London, May 29. Sir Rufus Isaacs in his evidence said his dealings with his brother Harry had not the slightest effect on the contract. He did not think today that his conduct had been indiscreet, nor did he consider he should have told the House of Commons everything. He added that he had nothing to do with the present pro secution. EDITOR ON TRIAL. (Received 11.40 a.m.) London, May 29. At the trial of Cecil Chesterton, Godfrey Isaacs denied that ho ever influenced anyone. He said he had never conversed with Sir Rufus Tsaacs on the subject.
