Auckland, May 20. ■The League Council has appointed Dr. Thacker (of Christchurch) and Mr Bruce (of Wellington) managers for the team to tour Australia. was decided not to send a trainer with the team, which will play a match at Wellington previous to its departure, and a match at Christchurch after its return if grounds are available. It was resolved to submit to Australia the following itinerary for the Australian team, which will tour New Zealand: —Arrive Wellington, July 23; play Canterbury, July 26; Marlborough and Nelson, at Blenheim, July 30; Wellington, August 2; Wanganui, August 6; Auckland District Leagues, August 13; New Zealand, at Auckland, August 16; Waikato, at Hamilton, August 23; leave for Sydney, August 25.
