Masterton to Tam i ! u. ci" Jdg a total : n.ilc*' The deputa ion urged upon the (a ne-r.mont to make an immediate start ny building the first section of the Dannevirke-to-Weber and Pah-iatna-to-PoLgaroa lines, the latter as lar as Makun, and pointing out that such for a email expenditure would give great relief. The Minister, who said be believed in light lines, made no promises, and left for Pongaroa to-day, and will go on to Eketahuna and Masterton to-morrow. He will visit Dannevirke, Weber, and the Waipukurau districts before next session.
