Clearing Sale.—On Monday, 12th inst., I held a sale on account of Mrs M. J. Thompson;- Omata. There was a large attendance of the public, making good competition for all lines. The cows were rather low in condition, but had a good strain of Jersey, and sold satisfactorily as follows :—Choice young cows £lO to £l3, good £7 to £9, backward £4 15s to £6, three-quarter cows £3 10s, choich Jersey in calf heifers £8 2s GtT, grades £4 10s, choice colored weaner heifers £(5 3s, small £1 10s. On account of other vendors £3, colored weaner heifers £2 4s Gd, in calf 20-month heifers £3 I ts to £3 17s, springing heifers £5 ss, weaners, mixed; £1 10s.
