FIXED £5 Oil A MONTH. [Per Press Association.] Dunedin, May 20. Jas. C. Riley, Thomas A. Bumberry, Cecil J. S. Nicholson, Herbert Thompson, and Ilobt. Kirkness, who, on Wednesday, pleaded guilty to assaulting ■Charles Macanh, a Daily Times reporter, at Sutton camp, were, this morning, eacii fined £ti and costs, in default, of one month’s imprisonment. Mr Widdowson, S.M., said the case could only be described as a very serious, cowardly, and unjustifiable assault.
