YOUNG DUNEDIN. Christchurch, May 19. The Dunedin children, 1250 altogether, who are coming to Christchurch if) see .the New Zealand, arrived tonight,' and were distributed among the many hosts who offered . homes. A number of citizens were disappointed, for there were more hosts than were required. There was a great scene at the railway station when the trains-arrived, hut the Work ,of distributing the children Was carried out promptly and completely. .The children will be taken through to Lyttelton to see the ship to-morrow morning, and on the return will lunch at the Technical College. They will then be taken for a tramway trip to New Brighton, and afterwards will be entertained at Hayward’s pictures. They have also been granted the free use of the municipal tepid baths later in the afternoon. To-day the ship was visited by 17,820 people. ■
