WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev. D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows
The indications are for westerly winds strong to gale and veering by west to south. There is every prospect of bad weather, and heavy rain is expected with rivers flooded and snow.in high couhtry. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising fast after 20 hours.
