-MATTHEWS AND BENNETT’S REPORT.
Matthews, Bennett and Coy. report that there was a goon entry of stock in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday, and most lines changed hands at the following prices:— Weaners £1 os Gd to. £1 18s Gd, good weaners £2 Is to £2 15s Gd, in calf heifers £3 10s to £3 18s Gd, springing heifers £1 os to £7, store cows £2 10s to £4 os, cow in milk £7 15s, bulls £2 los to £o ss.' The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 16th instant Tallow.—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions : Good mutton 37s Gd per cwt, good beef 35s 9d, mixed 33s 9cl.
