——— i MODIFICATION OF PRESENT ARRANGEMENTS. [Per Press Association.] Wellington, April 17. The statement of the Sydney Sun’s London correspondent, that New Zealand intehds to build her own Navy, was referred by a Post representative to Mr Massey, who states that nothing of the sort was intended. The stater inert was evidently written by someone with a fertile imagination. Nothing could be done until Mr Allen’s report was considered by. Cabinet. Mr Massey, however, believes thatjfioine modification of the present arrangement will be proposed.
