From an elaborately decorated house, one of the finest in St. Leonards, the furniture was' recently removed owing to the expiration of the tenancy. Suffragettes fired different rooms and left pamphlets. While the firemen were extinguishing the flames, several explosion's occurred. The damage is estimat'd at £12,000. Suffragettes cut the telephone and telegraph wires at Bath near tee railway tunnel. PROHIBITION ON OPEN-AIR MEETINGS. (Received 12.30 p.m.) London, April 15. The Home Secretary has prohibited the Women’s Political Union from holding open-air meetings in’the Metropolitan area.
