A BLASTING ACCIDENT

[Per Press Association. ") Dunedin, April 14. A bad blasting accident occurred at Waikaia yesterday, as the result of which three men, Robert Craig, John Wilks and David Gillespie were badly injured by burns. They were working overtime in a smithy attached to the coal pit, when a spark ignited a case of powder; "Craig and Gillespie are in a bad -way, and have been sent to the hospital. MOTOR FATALITY. Dunedin, April 14. The Superintendent of Police has received advice from Duntroon that John William Miles died yesterday at Otekaike, as a result of a motor colliding with his trap on April 6.
