France bidding for JanuaryFebruary Australian cargoes is 375, and there are numerous sales of Australian cargoes in parcels, ranging from 37s 9d to 38s 6d. Official quotations: Australian prompt delivery 37s 6d, on passage 38s to 38s 4id. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. Sydney, April 8. The wool sales were resumed to-day. Competition was free and keen, and prices firm. In the closing rates of the last sales any movement was in the growers’ favour.
