HOSPITAL & CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Stratford Hospital and Charitable Aid Bqard was held on Friday last, the Board meeting earlier than usual in order to enable the chairman (Mr E. Marfell), who left to-day for the Old Country, to be present. There was a full attendance of members. On the motion of Mr Ohristoffel, seconded by Mr Meredith, it was decided to thank Dr. Steven for his letter of comment on tho tuberculosis conference apd that the same be filed for reference.g
In recognition of Nurse Myers’ excellent service at the hospital, it was decided to grant her an increase in salary.
A resolution was carried that the secretary endeavour to secure applications for post of probationer nurse, ‘ subject, to approval.of the Medical, Superintendent.. On. the. motion of My Hine, seqpnd'edby Mr Split,h, it was resolved thpt the. secretpj-y supply tho matron with a. statement of. the.supi spent on pro- - in this and other years and call, her attention to the increase. The for til© r.edpction of the Bank of. New Zjeplpnd Building Loan is to be included in. tfm estimates. .
