The totalisator investments amounted to £12,821, SYDNEY YEARLING SALES. i Sydney, March 25. * The annual sales of thoroughbred

yearlings took place to-day at Randwick. The attendance and bidding were good. Mr G. Currie, Koatunui, New’ Zealand, topped the prices, his TraquairRoscommon colt bringing 1125 guineas. A. Trophy, of Victoria, was the purchaser. A Flavius-Albuera fdly realised 250 guineas, and a Tingruius-Al-bania colt 210 guineas. Six others of Mr Currie’s ranged from 65 guineas to 145 guineas. Mr A. H. Hangar’s Bobadil-Ringlet filly brought a thousand guineas. E. R. White’s Flav-ius-Goldgrip colt brought £975, a Fla-vius-Boiling colt 900 guineas, and a Flavius-Many Colors colt 700 guineas. Mr Hunter White’s Antonio-Sonoma filly fetched 530, whilst Mr E. J. Watt, of New Zealand, paid 210 guineas for a Mountain King-Laville colt. At the draught stallion sales in connection with th’e‘ show a number of New Zealand horses were offered by Mr J. D. Mitchell. Obrien’s Colonel sold for 125 guineas and three others realised from 47 to 90 guineas. On behalf of H. Moses an EarlstonBurletta colt brought 1275 guineas, a Bobadil-Helois colt 1025 guineas, and an Erlston-Vclox colt 900 guineas. (Received 9.50 ai.m.) Sydney, March 26.

At the yearling sales an EarlstonSolution colt fetched 800 guineas; an Earlston-Terala colt 700; and a Malstcr-Wakeful colt 825. DEATH OF A RACEHQRSE. Sydney, March 26. Moorilla’s bad showing in the Sydney Cup was a surprise and disappointment, but’it is..now explained. The mare was found dead in the stables next morning. A post mortem showed a broken blood vessel leading tb the heart. , WOLOWA INJURED. Walowa struck himself before winning the St. Leger, and injured a suspensory ligament. Wolowa will be retired until next season.
