Sydney, March 19. Maranui was awarded championship honours in the thoroughbred class over four years. 4 Apple Charlotte was similarly placed among mares locally owned. . New Zealand horses figured prominently in the Clydesdale classes. In the four-year-old class Alexander’s Pride was first.and reserve champion, Glencoe second and Glenlyon third. In t-hroc-year-olds Baron Daimler was second.

In colts under two years Baron Mercedes was first.

In four-year-old mares Princess Fanny Was first and champion, Rose second, and Flora fourth. In twO-year-olds Goodhope was first. In the active stallion class (three years) Glenlyon was first.
