His Excellency the Governor Si; Gerald Strickland, in officially open iug the Show, declared it was «n rivalled, and that this Continent wat famous throughout the world. Yesterday the attendance was a record. Fred Fairey (Nelson) secured first prize for fat ox in the Hereford class. A. J. Keith, another New Zealander exhibited the champion fat cow, which scaled 19251b5. (Received 10.15 a.m.) Sydney, March 20. At the Show cattle sales, prices were moderate. A number of Shorthorn cows, on behalf of Williams, Te Ante Station, Hawkesbury, ranged up to 65 guineas.
