TARANAKI JOCKEY CU B. At a meeting of tho Distinct Committee of the Taranaki Jockey Club the Egmont Racing Club’s programme for May 11 and 15, was duly approved, as also were two “wcight-for-age” races, tho Egmont Stakes of 100 sovr. for horses two-year-old and upwards at time of starting (six furlongs), and tho Hawera Stakes of -100 _ ?ovs. loi horses three-year-old and t pwards (one mile). Tho above two races arc to bo included in the summer meeting programme. o
The following nominations to. toe District Committee were received: Egmont Racing Club, Messrs R. H. Nolan and John Gray; Stratfprd Racing Club, Messrs A. W. Budge and S. Pitt; Opunake Racing Club, VI r vj. W. Rogers. The Stratford C'ub also nominated Messrs. R. H. Nolan and A. W. Budgo as representatives to the conference. FEILDING MEETING.
Additional acceptances for the Fellding races are Grattan 7.5 in the -Vlangaone Stakes and Con the Shaughraun 8.2 in the Feilding Cup.
