THE ALLIES’ ULTIMATUM

The Powers have received the Allies’ reply. It insists on an indemnity, the cession of Adrianople, Scutari, and the Aegcans, the renunciation of Crete, a frontier line from Rodosto to Cape Malatra, and the compensation of civilian losses before the war.

M. Popovitch, the Montenegrin plenipotentiary, ex-Minister at Constantinople, states that the Albanian Congress at Trieste has declared a holy war with the Allies. Montenegro therefore regaids the Albanians as belligerents.

A NAVAL ENGAGEMENT.

The Reich spost’s correspondent states that Montenegrins are fiercely bombarding Scutari, and that part of the town is in flames.
