TRADE COMMISSION AT AUCKLAND. Auckland, March ’S., The Empire Trade Commission was welcomed by Mr S. Nathan, president of the Chamber of Commerce, who said the employers in his part of the Dominion experienced the same difficulties in obtaining labour as elsewhere in Xew Zealand in farming, factories, and workshops. The general opinion of employers was that a judicious immigration policy should be put into operation by the Government, and ho had reason to believe something of the kind was likely to bo done in this direction. A MISSIXG NATIVE. Blenheim, March 13. A native named Mason has been missing since Saturday. He is supposed to have left Picton in a small boat for Huiakawa. The boat was found on the beach on Wednesday with one paddle in it. It is feared Mason bus been drowned.
