There will be a novel and interesting service in the Presbyterian Church to-morrow morning, called a “White Service.’ The Church will be suitably decorated with white flowers, and the children will attend wearing white buttonholes, and as far as convenient clad in white dresses. The Minister will speak to the chMdren on Purity. x
On Friday, March 28th, Mr F. Mandeno Jackson will sell by public auction at Auckland 1917 acres of grand sheep and cattle'* country at Pohokura, particulars of which appear in another column. A block of land five miles from Thames will be offered on the same date. Mr W. Moore, Beaconsfield Road, Midhirst, invites tenders for the supply of 50 yards of metal. Mr Newton King has postponed his Whangamomona supplementary sheep fair until Friday, March 28th. Entries to date for the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co’s. Kohuratahi supplementary sheep fair and cattle sale, which takes place on Wednesday, March 19th, are advertised. Messrs Matthews, Bennett and Co. hold a sheep fair and weaner sale at Inglewood on Wednesday next, March 12th.
On Monday, March 10th, Messrs Matthews, Bennett and Co. hold a sheep fair at their Matau yards. Messrs Matthews, Bennett, and Co. hold a supplementary sheep fair and cattle sale at Tarata on Tuesday, March 11th.
The N.Z.L. and M. Agency Company, Ltd., and Messrs Wester, Dobson and Co. hold their next Stratford stock sale on Tuesday, March 11th. Entries appear in another column. A married couple require two furnished rooms, with or without hoax’d. Divine worship will be conducted in the Broadway Church to-morrow morning by the Rev. B. Metson, and in the evening by the Rev. A. Reader. A hearty invitation is given to these helpful services. x
