He gets tin Indians intoxicated and then tell them of his hatred for Billy. He en lists their aid in a plan to scare th sweethearts and they proceed to th' trysting place. The Indians are beyom all control, and a fight ensues. Bill; is wounded and left for dead, while tinted men carry Mabel to the ledge o a near by canon, the only egress fron which is a single log stretched acros; the abyss. “Doc” trails her to tin canon, walks along the log and unties the girl’s bonds. In the meantirm Billy has recovered and has starter for the canon with a sheriff’s posse.
